Overview
A cloud-based web application providing file storage, management, and sharing capabilities with a modern interface and real-time sync.
The Problem
The team needed a private, self-managed way to store and share files internally without depending on third-party services like Google Drive or Dropbox. Privacy concerns and the lack of control over their data made off-the-shelf solutions unsuitable for their workflow.
The Solution
We built a custom cloud storage web app with user authentication, file upload and management, and sharing controls — all hosted under their own infrastructure. Next.js handled the UI, Node.js powered the backend API, and MongoDB was used for metadata storage. The result is a lightweight, self-contained platform they fully own and control.
